Deborah Rhondda Tyler, of Pleasantville, New Jersey, was born on July 14, 2005, at the Virtua West Jersey Hospital in Voorhees, New Jersey.  She died at the hospital later that day.

The Deborah Rhondda Tyler Memorial Scholarship honors the brief life of the daughter of Tyler Enterprises, LLC founders Mark Tyler and his wife, the former Deanna Carstarphen.  Although Deborah did not live a long life, she takes her rightful place in a rich family history that can be traced all the way back to Africa.

Deborah never had an opportunity to reach her full potential. This scholarship will help Columbia Union College students reach their full potential in the pursuit of excellence.
